Hello & welcome!

I have always had a deep passion for helping children in need, with most of my adult life spent as a paediatric nurse. The last 20 years has been spent working in Children’s Continence, which has helped me develop the myriad of techniques needed to give every child the tools needed to conquer their toileting issues.

My passion for what I do still burns just as strong today, because I firmly believe that every child deserves their very best chance at overcoming their poo or wee problem. There is nothing better than seeing that weight lift away, letting a child finally flourish and the family enjoy their child without worrying.

Making the Impossible, Possible

Feedback from a Family of a 9yr old boy with Non Verbal Autism who was still in pull ups

Before meeting and working with Lisa, Kevin was getting manually cleaned out twice a year, this took its toll on him and us, our pediatrician was not sure where to go next.

You could tell when Kevin was starting to block up again as his tummy would be more round looking, he was easily irritated and frustrated, school was difficult, and we didn't realise until looking back this was likely the reason he would come into our bed every night, meaning his sleep was interrupted and not particularly restful.

We had tried so many different ways to try to toilet train him and in all honesty I could not see a time in the future that he would be, I envisaged nappies for life.

Although we were supplied with a good amount of nappies, with the amount of frequent smears of poos he would have we would end up topping up the pull ups towards the end of the month about 6-10 packs, this got expensive.

Now, Kevin wears satin boxers during the day, is able to take himself to the toilet for wees majority of the time without reminders, and he sleeps through the night in his own bed, another thing I thought would never happen!  I don't remember the last time he came into our bed, meaning sleep has improved massively for my husband and I.

Kevin wakes up in the morning happy, gets up and plays with his toys or goes down to turn the tv on.  We have noticed a big improvement with school, happily goes off for the hour and completes his tasks, he has more patience and is happier within himself, having Kevin toilet trained has made such a huge difference for him and for our family.

We could not have done this without the help and support from Lisa, she made what seemed impossible for us/Kevin possible.

If money is a barrier to receiving support for your child then we have managed to secure some funds to help.

We now have the Elizabeth Graham Subsidy Fund which may provide up to $100 towards a Continence Assessment. This is only available for first time clients.

To apply click the link below and explain in one paragraph why you feel obtaining this subsidy would help.

“We recommend the Prompt Programme for any family/parent embarking on this journey. With Lisa's guidance and support we have achieved success and we are so grateful to have found a professional with so many year's of knowledge and experience.”

Many thanks, Ash & Neha.
